Developer ‘tetedeiench’ has updated OverClock Checking Tool to version 1.1.1. The new version is available from this page downloaded as a zip and installation package. OCCT was developed to test the stability of an overclocked system. The program offers various options to find out whether the processor and/or video card is running on the selected settings. The new version of OCCT comes with the following release notes:

Here’s a list of its features:

  • Up to 16-core support ( for instance, up to a Quad-Kentsfield or an Octo-Conroe )
  • Customizable tests ( Duration, Priority, CPU or RAM, … )
  • CPU and Motherboard detection
  • Monitoring support through 3rd party application ( ie MBM5, Speedfan and Everest Ultimate Edition 3.50 or above )
  • Can produce graphs showing temperature and voltages during the test : Unique feature !
  • Multi-language support

FEATURES

  • A sound file is now played when an error is detected
  • OCCT is much faster when stopping tests

TEST

  • RAM mode is now limited to 2GB and will take up to 90% of your total available memory

MONITORING

  • Sensor names are now displayed in the lists with Everest
  • Much better Everest support!

HARDWARE DETECTION

  • New CPU support (C2Q,…)
  • Vista64 support (you only need Administrative rights for it to work!)

INTERFACE

  • New option : “Sound” : sound file played when an error is detected

BUG FIXES

  • Graphs are now always generated when monitoring is configured
  • Temp and “My Document” path is now correctly detected (was failing in some cases)

TRADUCTION

  • Chinese support (traditional and simplified)
