The Opera Desktop team released the final release of version 10.51 of the Opera web browser on Monday. Version 10.50 includes a newer version of Carakan, the javascript engine that is part of the layout engine Presto 2.5. This version of Carakan is a lot faster than its predecessors. Furthermore, 10.50 works better with Windows 7 and the Opera logo in the top left corner has been made into a menu, which gives access to all important functions in the browser. In version 10.51, not that much has changed. The changelog mainly shows bug fixes and the browser should have become a bit faster. Below is the complete list of changes since 10.50:

• Attached files not being sent if mail is sent immediately after attaching them
• Opera Mail welcome email message not being localized
• The text part of HTML emails missing the reply character ” > ” for block quotes
