Download Opera 10.0 alpha 1

Opera developers have released the first public version of the 10-series. This first version has been given version numbering alpha 1 and can be used from this page for Unix distros, Mac OS, and Windows. Opera 10 uses, among other things, a new render engine, should deliver better performance than the 9 branch and is equipped with an auto-updater. Furthermore, the support of Widgets under Linux has been overhauled and the web standards are fully supported, as evidenced by the score of 100 in the Acid3 test.
