OpenShot Video Editor is an open source video editor for Linux. It is made with Python, GTK and the MLT Framework and is comparable to Windows Movie maker or Apple’s iMovie. Earlier this week version 1.40 of OpenShot Video Editor was released and if all goes well this version will also be present in the soon to be released version 11.10 of Ubuntu. This new release includes timeline improvements, improved color correction and customization capabilities, and numerous bug fixes.
