Download OpenOffice.org 1.0.2

Everyone knows of course the well-known office package from Microsoft. Unfortunately, this package costs money and there are also people who prefer not to pay for software. There is a special open source alternative to Office for this, called OpenOffice. A new version has been released with version number 1.0.2. It works on Macintosh, Linux and Windows and has all the functionalities you can expect from a good office package. The new version will be announced on the site as follows:

Technically a “micro” improvement, one in which many bugs have been fixed, 1.0.2 is, according to reports, significantly faster than 1.0.1. There are no new features.
