Download OpenELEC 3.0 RC4

A fourth release candidate of version 3.0 of the Open Embedded Linux Entertainment Center has been released. This Linux distribution is based on XBMC Media Center and can turn a computer into a full-fledged HTPC. OpenELEC is easy to install, maintain and use, as well as being small and lightning fast. In addition to the default download there are special versions for AMD’s Fusion and Nvidia’s ION platform, Apple TV, Xtreamer Ultra and Raspberry Pi. This release of OpenELEC is based on the final release of version 12 of XBMC and is further shipped with the following release notes:

OpenELEC 3.0 RC4 released

The OpenELEC team is proud to release the 4th Release Candidate of OpenELEC 3.0! Internally this is known by the less-catchy name OpenELEC 2.99.4 🙂

This Release Candidate fixes some issues found in our RC3 release as well it includes a lot of bugfixes to XBMC Frodo. This will be one of the last release candidates before OpenELEC 3.0 final, so please test and report issues.

Together with our new partner Arctic we developed a own build to use on any Arctic MC001 (EU Model, US Model) devices (all, including any barebones).
