Download OpenELEC 3.0.1
The first update for version 3.0 of the Open Embedded Linux Entertainment Center has been released. This Linux distribution is based on XBMC Media Center and can turn a computer into a full-fledged HTPC. OpenELEC is easy to install, maintain and use, as well as being small and lightning fast. In addition to the default download there are special versions for AMD’s Fusion and Nvidia’s ION platform, Apple TV, Xtreamer Ultra and Raspberry Pi. This release of OpenELEC is based on version 12.1 of XBMC, with several bug fixes already included in the 12.2 release, and is further shipped with the following release notes:
