Open-Shell is a program that allows you to customize the appearance of Windows Explorer, Internet Explorer, the start button, and the start menu in Windows 7, 8, and 10. In Windows 8 or later, it can also add a classic start button and start menu. The program is a further development of Classic Shell, which the original developer indicated at the end of 2017 with further development to stop. The source code then ended up as open source on GitHub, where it is now known as Open-Shell. Version 4.4.169 released, a version that is offered as a development version.
