Download Notepad++ 6.1.1

Version 6.1.1 of Notepad++ has been released. Notepad++ is an extensive text editor and has various features that are especially useful for programmers, such as syntax highlighting for C, C++, Java, html, xml and php, among others. The program also offers the possibility to edit more than one document at the same time or even to maintain one document in two different places.

New in version 6.0 are support for Perl-compatible regular expressions and a screen on the right that clearly indicates where you are in a document. Opening large files is also faster. In version 6.1.1 some bugs have been fixed and the license terms have been adjusted to prevent third parties from bundling the software with ‘junk’.

Notepad++ v6.1.1 modification and fixed bugs:

• Enhance project’s License (GPL) to avoid the other malicious websites bundle Notepad++ release with their parasite software. More info.
• Fix selectAll-copy-paste on the same document crash bug while document map has been activated.
• Fix a regression about auto-completion feature.
• Fix focus on document map problem after its launch.
