Download Notepad++ 4.0

The long awaited version 4.0 of the open source text editor Notepad++ has just been released. Some of the program’s many features include syntax highlighting (for C, C++, Java, HTML, XML, and PHP, among others) and the ability to edit multiple documents at once or even one document in two different places. As a download you can choose from one zip file or a installer. Of course, the source code is too available. Although the ’round version number’ suggests otherwise, this is not a major milestone release, but is the logical successor to version 3.9. The changelog of this release does not show any major changes:
