Download Notepad++ 3.6

The open source text editor Notepad++ has been updated to version 3.6. Some of the features of this program include syntax highlighting (for C, C++, Java, HTML, XML and PHP, among others) and the ability to edit multiple documents simultaneously or even one document in two different places. For download you can choose between a zip file and a installer. If the former is chosen and it concerns an upgrade from an older version, the files config.xml and stylers.xml must first be deleted manually before the editor is started for the first time. The changelog of this release shows the following changes:

• Add Preference Dialog.
• Add the customizable default settings for new document – Format/Encoding/Language(in Preference Dialog).
• Add the customizable feature (hide or display item) for the Language Menu (in Preference Dialog).
• Fix the print bug of continued background color on footer and header.
• Add 2 environment variables for Run Dialog : $(NAME_PART) and $(EXT_PART), and 3 environment variables for printing feature.
• Make printing parameters customizable : colour, margins, headers and footers.
• Fix the search with match case bug for non latin-1.
