Download NewsLeecher 4.0 final

After 24 beta releases, the development of version 4.0 of NewsLeecher is finally complete. With this program it is possible to download files from newsgroups in a simple way. The program supports nzb files, has a so-called SuperSearch, and can automatically check downloaded files for integrity and completeness and then extract them independently. Since version 3.9 there is a new caching system, support for collections of files, also known as threads, and the SuperSearch now has a retention of a whopping 1050 days.

NewsLeecher V4.0 Final!

If you install this released on top of an earlier release of NewsLeecher, it is strongly recommended that you make a backup of your NewsLeecher settings and data first. Also, since this release of NewsLeecher uses a new cache system over the earlier NewsLeecher V3.9 Final, old group caches and queues will not be compatible. This isn’t a problem with earlier NewsLeecher V4.0 betas though. Enjoy the final release, and look out for the NewsLeecher V5.0 betas, which we’ve already started working on.
