Download NewsLeecher 3.9 beta 16

Newsleecher version 3.9 beta 16 was released yesterday. Newsleecher is considered one of the better programs for downloading binary files from newsgroups. So it has support for nzb files, it has a so-called ‘super search’ and files can be automatically checked for completeness and then extracted. This release only includes a minor enhancement to the search capability in the SuperSearch feature and some bug fixes. Bigger changes will be saved for version 4.0, which developers will focus on in the near future. The full changelog for this release is as follows:

Changes in version 3.9 beta 16:

• Extended the functionality of the ‘Find in SuperSearch’ feature. It’s now possible to specify the search category and the ‘max days’ setting through the feature.
• Smaller improvements here and there.
• Fixed bug where the “Pause queue if disk space is below …” setting was ignored by NewsLeecher:
