Download NewsLeecher 3.0 beta 2

The second beta release of version 3.0 of NewsLeecher has just been released. With this program messages from newsgroups can be read on Usenet and files can be downloaded. NewsLeecher can download from multiple servers simultaneously, has support for yEnc encryption, and can handle up to 99 threads simultaneously. The following changes have been made in this release:

Changes in 3.0 beta 2:

• Added an option to only have 1 group/virtual-group enabled at a time. This option will auto-untick any groups from the groupview, before activating any new groups. The option can be accessed from the groupview ‘More’ submenu.
• (Re)added group navigation shortcuts. Alt+ArrowUp = Previous Virtual Group, Alt+ArrowLeft = Previous Single Group, Alt+ArrowDown = Next Virtual Group, Alt+ArrowRight = Next Single Group.
• The subscribed groupview update speed has been improved a lot.
• Minor improvements. (Active groupname is no longer shortened in the activegroup statusbar if less than 4 groups are active, when activating the ‘Active Group’ tab, the group listview now gets focused instead of the filter editbox, etc). etc)
• “Export to NZB” didn’t work for the active group view. Fixed!
• A couple of minor bug fixes.
