Download NewsLeecher 2.3 beta 6

NewsLeecher allows you to read messages from newsgroups and download files on Usenet. The developer has released the sixth beta version of 2.3 which fixes some important bugs. The following list of changes is included:

Version 2.3 Beta 6:

• Fixed a serious bug, introduced in beta 5, that caused NewsLeecher to freeze with an ‘Out of Memory’ error under some circumstances. (Thanks for pointing out the error code The-One)
• Fixed bugintroduced in beta 5, that caused the download queue to hang if the queue was paused and then unpaused right after.

Version 2.3 Beta 5:

• This beta version of available to all NewsLeecher users. Registered as well as unregistered. Normally betas are only available to registered users, but as this release includes a new unregistered-user-specific feature, it is open for all.
• Download queue articles that should be opened after the download is complete, will now be downloaded immediately even though the download queue is paused.
• Added possibility for unregistered users to make some uses of the SuperSearch service. The feature is added to give unregistered users a way to fully tryout the service.
• Improved speed limiter feature. The speed is now much more evenly spread among the bot connections when the speed is limited.
• Trailing whitespaces are trimmed from the port/username/password and serveraddress edit fields on the server setup dialog.
• Minor improvements/changes. (Download speed is limited in unregistered NewsLeecher versions, etc)
