After an impressive 32 beta versions, NewsLeecher 1.0 has finally reached final status. This program is intended for reading messages and downloading files from usenet newsgroups. The changelog shows the following changes:

1.0 Final – Released Notes:

• NewsLeecher v1.0 Final available!
  We decided to release NewsLeecher v1.0 Final at this time, because an estimated 98+% of the NewsLeecher userbase use the application frequently, without encountering any “serious” bugs.
• Fixed bug where the ‘Run command-line when queue is empty’ feature didn’t always work.
• Oh, by the way… Just because NewsLeecher v1.0 Final has been released, it doesn’t mean that the development will stop or be paused for a time. NewsLeecher v2.0 is already in the works, and a roadmap for v2.5, v3.0 and v4.0 can be found here† Enjoy!
