Download NewsBin Pro 6.40 Build 1997 Beta 7

The seventh beta release of version 6.40 of NewsBin Pro has become available. With this program files – such as photos, movies and programs – can be retrieved from usenet. New in version 6.40 is, among other things, that nzb files placed in a specific folder are automatically picked up. Furthermore, improvements have been made to the autopar function. Version 6.40 New Features and Changes Summary since 6.3x

• New pathing mechanism to allow you to insert different elements to create custom download paths.
• New NZB Watch Folder feature. You can create a folder for sending NZB files for processing and specify different download and unrar pathsto apply to the contents of the NZBs in each watch folder if you like.
• AutoPAR tweaks so it will work better with a wider variety of RAR set posting styles.
• AutoPAR state data is all stored in memory now. AutoPAR2.db3 only saves data between runs now. This increases reliability by reducing the chance of corrupting the database file and provides some performance optimizations.
• Performing an empty search in Internet Search is now a wildcard search. Returns the last 2000 items added to the Search database.
• New “Performance” section in the Options menu that allows you to easily tweak options to work best on high end machines or low end machines.

Version 6.40 Beta 7 Build 1997

• Fixed issue where deleting all posts from Poster wasn’t killing in memory posts that were being hidden.
• Fixed issue moving an iem down one position in the Download List. It would actually go all the way to the bottom.
• Fixed issue with Local search mode.
• MP3’s that use Folder Mode and have PAR files need to stay in folders – unrar path is now changed to reflect Folder Mode
• Made change so file sets that contain no unrarable files will always fail and download all PAR files.
• Fixed issue where header downloads weren’t updating files sitting in the post and/or download lists.
• NZBFile and NZBPath pathing variables now work for unrar path.
• Made change so when a PAR downloads, all related files also download to the same folder, no matter what the folder settings are.
• Fixed issue where size filters were changing randomly in the Filter Profiles.
• Made changes to file attributes for NB2 and regular files to prevent windows indexing service from getting in the way.
