Download NewsBin Pro 6.40 Build 1930 Beta 3

The third beta release of version number 6.40 of NewsBin Pro has become available. With this program files – such as photos, movies and programs – can be retrieved from usenet. New in version 6.40 is, among other things, that nzb files placed in a specific folder are automatically picked up. Furthermore, improvements have been made to the autopar function. Version 6.40 New Features and Changes Summary since 6.3x

• New NZB Watch Folder feature. You can create a folder for sending NZB files for processing and specify different download and unrar pathsto apply to the contents of the NZBs in each watch folder if you like.
• AutoPAR tweaks so it will work better with a wider variety of RAR set posting styles.
• AutoPAR state data is all stored in memory now. AutoPAR2.db3 only saves data between runs now. This increases reliability by reducing the chance of corrupting the database file and provides some performance optimizations.
• Performing an empty search in Internet Search is now a wildcard search. Returns the last 2000 items added to the Search database.
• New “Performance” section in the Options menu that allows you to easily tweak options to work best on high end machines or low end machines.

• Path variables can be applied for custom download path assignments.
• Double-clicked NZB’s now use the default global download folder, with expansion.
• Move custom NZB folders into NZB options.
• Simplified wording of post/search list right click
• Fixed Right click send to topic.
• Fixed issue where files without pars never auto-assemble.
• When all the rars are present and good, even if the block count is incomplete, will now attempt to unrar.
• Fixed issue where early out unrar caused an unrar failure which triggered all pars to download.
• When unraring to a different folder, now attempts to delete the source folder.
• Fixed option to disable file write during unrar/repair. Got broken in 6.40B2
• Now handles situation where some servers return empty bodies for DMCA takedowns. Newsbin notes this in Logging tab
• Fixed issue where zero parters with message-ids wouldn’t clear and don’t download. It is still a problem if they look like PARS
• Fixed issue where Read Post Body would get out of sync on a 430 error.
• Changes when reading articles to catch more error conditions.
• Fixed an issue to make filters persistent.
• Fixed issue with “Assign a New Path” not remembering the last path used.
