Download NewsBin Pro 6.30 Build 1695 Beta 2

The second beta release of NewsBin Pro version 6.30 has been released. NewsBin Pro is intended to retrieve files, such as photos, movies and programs, from usenet. These files can be downloaded in individual packets from one or more news servers and reassembled at the receiving end. Since version 6.00, the interface uses tabs and there is a cache-to-memory option that, if a machine has enough memory, reduces constant access to the hard drive. The main changes coming with version 6.30 plus the improvements from beta 2 can be found below:

Version 6.30 New Features and Changes Summary since 6.21

• New column in Groups tab called “New Records” lists number of new posts since the last load.
• Better progress reporting in Download tab
• Fixes to resolve memory problems on 32 bit systems
• Ctrl-Y to force a download now bypasses spam filters too (Add to Download List – Bypass Filters)

Changes in version 6.30 Beta 2 Build 1695:

• Fixed issue downloading UUEncoded posts
• Re-worked unrar filenaming to rename the file before it copies.
• Fixed issue in AutoPAR when assigning a new password, it wasn’t getting used right away.
• If all chunks fail in PAR files for a RAR set, Newsbin will now automatically assemble everything else.
• Fixed issue applying filters to local search
• Fixed AutoRename (broken in Beta 1)
• Fixed crash issue if you try to do a reload on an NZB file.
• Fixed issue where low level unrar errors were not getting logged in the Logging tab.
