Download NewsBin Pro 6.21 build 1519

Shortly after the release of the final release of NewsBin Pro version 6.20, a successor has already become available. NewsBin Pro is intended to retrieve files, such as photos, movies and programs, from usenet. These files can be downloaded in individual packets from one or more news servers and reassembled at the receiving end. Since version 6.00, the interface uses tabs and there is a cache-to-memory option that, if a machine has plenty of memory, reduces constant access to the hard drive. In version 6.21 the following changes have been made:

New for version 6.21:

• Fixed potential crash if first RAR is missing from a set.
• Fixed issue where Internet Search results containing exactly 1 match would not display.
• Changed icon for compacted RAR sets containing PAR files (blue circle with a “P” in it)
• Changed icons for XP users to show the same 32 bit icons as Vista/Win7 users.
• Fix issue when manually invoking a download retry from the download list, sometimes nothing would happen.
• Change progress bar in Download tab to show some indication when posts are failing.
