Download NetLimiter 3 Beta 5

Locktime Software has released a new beta of NetLimiter version 3. With this program all incoming and outgoing network and internet traffic can be monitored. The program is available in three different versions, namely Monitor, Lite and Pro. The first is free to use, but only displays information. The other two cost seventeen and thirty dollars respectively, but can also do more, including setting the allowed bandwidth per application or process. A clear difference between the three versions is on this page to find. NetLimiter 3 works on all Windows versions from 2000 onwards and has a separate download for 64bit versions. The changelog of this beta shows the following changes:

Bug fixed:

• NetLimiter service hangup during system startup.
• Handle leak in NL3 GUI.
• Possible BSOD during network interface startup/shutdown.
• Rule scheduler executing rules only once.
• Possible service hangup due to error in rule scheduler.
• Firewall window stealing focus or active window.
• Installer doesn’t require installation of Internet Explorer on Windows 7.
• Other minor bugs fixed.

Notes:

• In the next few weeks we are going to release an update with a new Stats plugin, which is not included in BETA 5.
