Nero Discspeed, the new name for Nero CD-DVD Speed, was updated to version 4.11.2.0 on Thursday. Discspeed is able to test the most important properties of a CD and DVD disc. For example, the transfer rate, search and access time and processor usage can be measured. In addition, this program can also be used to test the (deterioration of the) quality of the media by running various tests on it and comparing these with previously taken tests.
