Download MySQL 6.0.3 alpha

MySQL is a powerful open source database server that is particularly popular as a website and forum database. On the forum, the developers of MySQL have released the first alpha version of the 6.0.3 branch announced. The new test version can be downloaded via this page for many operating systems. The 6 Series is being developed around the new storage engine Falcon, which is called The Falcon Transactional Storage Engine in full. Falcon is being developed as a replacement for InnoDB and offers support for partitioning and record-based replication, among other things.
