Download MySQL 5.0.3 beta

MySQL AB today launched the first beta version of MySQL 5.0. This is the first version of the 5.0 series of the widely used database server and it is therefore not unexpected that this version contains a large number of interesting improvements. For example – after years of questions from users – support has been added for stored procedures, triggers and views. Furthermore, a large number of bugs have been squashed and many more new features have been added in this release. Because the changelog is very large, we won’t suffice here anot twonot three and no fourbut five links to changelogs of the different 5.0.x versions. Upgrade information can here to be found.

The downloads are available in large numbers and therefore we will suffice here with a short summary:
