MusicBrainz is a open content music database, which can be accessed to properly tag music tracks. Picard is the official program for requesting, editing and submitting tags. MusicBrainz Picard is open source and is being developed for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. The program has support for the most commonly used music formats, PU IDs and Acoustic IDs, and Unicode. Version 1.0 of MusicBrainz Picard was released last week and the changelog for that release looks like this:
