MultiRes is a 32-bit variant of the QuickRes supplied by Microsoft with Windows 95 and allows you to easily change the screen resolution and refresh rate. The essential differences lie in the extra options with regard to refresh rates and support for multiple monitors. It also has a “Lock refresh rate” option, which means so much that it locks the refresh rate. This is especially useful for games, since they sometimes have the annoying habit of jumping the refresh rate back to 60Hz. What exactly has changed in this release is unknown, because a changelog is unfortunately not included.
