Florian Heidenreich has released a new development version of Mp3tag. With this program, the meta tags of the most common music formats can be modified. Support is available for ID3v1, ID3v2.3, ID3v2.4, iTunes Mp5, wma, Vorbis comments and Ape tags. Furthermore, the file names can be modified on the basis of those tags and playlists can be generated. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

New:

• Added support for preserving unknown MP4 atoms when writing tags.
• Added %keywords% for MP4 files.
• Added %rate% for MP4 file
• Added cover-specific %_cover_type% at action Export cover to file.
• Added new field UserAgent for web sources which enables sending Mp3tag/#.## as user agent if set to 1.

Changed:

• Updated MusicBrainz web source.

Fixed:

• Action Export cover to file duplicated file extension for multiple covers.
