Mp3tag can easily modify the metadata of audio files. Support for Vorbis Comments and id3 and apev2 tags, among others, is available. In addition, it can also customize the embedded cover art, find the artist and title through the online database of freedb and Amazon and playlists can be created automatically. The developers released version 2.42 some time ago with the following list of changes:
