jfeelders writes that there is a new version of the mp3PRO plugin for Winamp. The plugin has since progressed to the respectable version number 1.0, and has had the following updates since the previous version:

using Nullsoft’s original file editor capabilities

bugfix for disabling the plugin for .mp3 files

bugfix for Xing-VBR Header reading

workaround for playlists with invalid entries
