Download Mozilla Thunderbird 52.1.1

The Mozilla Foundation has released version 52.1.1 of Thunderbird. Mozilla Thunderbird is an open source email and newsgroup client, with features such as support for several mail and news accounts, a spam filter, spell checker, and a customizable look and feel. In Thunderbird, new functionality is rarely added. New in version 52 is, among other things, that images are now added as data URIs in messages. In addition, there is now a drop-down menu that allows you to quickly customize the way folders are displayed. In addition, in Lightning it is now possible to edit events in tabs. A few minor issues have also been fixed in this update.

Fixed

• Crash when compacting IMAP folder
• Some attachments can’t be opened or saved if the message body is empty
• Unable to load full message via POP if message was downloaded partially (or only headers) before
• Large attachments may not be shown or saved correctly if the message is stored in an IMAP folder which is not synchronized for offline use

Known Issues

• Crash due to incompatibility with McAfee Anti-SPAM add-on. Workaround: Start in safe mode and disable McAfee Anti-Spam Extension
• Large number of blank pages being printed under certain circumstances
