Download Mozilla Thunderbird 52.0.1

The Mozilla Foundation has released an update for version 52 of Thunderbird. Mozilla Thunderbird is an open source email and newsgroup client, with features such as support for several mail and news accounts, a spam filter, spell checker, and a customizable look and feel. New functionality is rarely added to Thunderbird. New in version 52 is, among other things, that images are now added as data URIs in messages. In addition, there is now a drop-down menu that allows you to quickly customize the way folders are displayed. In addition, in Lightning it is now possible to edit events in tabs. This update also brings the following improvements:

Fixed

• Clicking on a link in an email may not open this link in the external browser.
• Crash due to incompatibility with McAfee Anti-SPAM add-on. Addon is blocked in 52.0.1

Known Issues

• Large attachments may not be shown or saved correctly if the message is stored in an IMAP folder which is not synchronized for offline use
• Large number of blank pages being printed under certain circumstances
