The Mozilla Foundation has released version 115.0 of Thunderbird. Thunderbird is an open source client for email and newsgroups, with features such as support for various mail and news accounts. Furthermore, there is a spam filter, spell check, calendar, address book and it has a customizable appearance. In version 115 we find, among other things, a new user interface, which Mozilla has given the name Supernova. Furthermore, the calendar and address book have been improved and links are now no longer opened in Thunderbird, but in the standard web browser. Fixes

  • Extra line breaks in Google Calendar event descriptions removed
  • Modifying events in locally-hosted ICS calendars sometimes led to data loss
  • Local calendars with custom timezone definitions unable to sync with CalDAV servers
