Download Mozilla Thunderbird 11.0.1

The Mozilla Foundation has released a minor update to Thunderbird version 11.0. Mozilla Thunderbird is an open source client for mail and newsgroups, with features such as support for different mail and news accounts, a junk mail filter, spell checker and a customizable appearance. Version 11 is based on the latest version of Mozilla Gecko, which should lead to better performance, among other things. Furthermore, the tabs are now placed above the menu bar and of course a lot of bug fixes have been implemented. This update has been released to fix two issues.

Fixed:

• Fixes an issue that may cause hangs when handling IMAP mail (bug 733731)
• Fixes an issue that may cause filters that move mail to specific folders to be erronously changed (bug 735940)

Known Issues

• If you are unable to view content for your RSS feeds in the Wide View Layout, you may need to disable the Lightning Calendar add-on if you have it installed or switch to Classic View and restart Thunderbird. (see 531397)
