Download Mozilla SeaMonkey 2.17
The Mozilla Foundation has provided SeaMonkey with a new release with 2.17 as the version number. SeaMonkey is the continuation of the former Mozilla Application Suite and consists of a web browser and programs for e-mailing and reading news. There is also a simple HTML editor available. Unlike the Mozilla Application Suite, SeaMonkey is community maintained, with the SeaMonkey Council overseeing maintenance. The corresponding announcement looks like this:

SeaMonkey 2.17 contains the following major changes relative to SeaMonkey 2.16:

- Continued performance improvements around common browser tasks (page loads, downloads, shutdown, etc.).
- Continued implementation of draft ECMAScript 6 (clear() and Math.imul).

- Fixed several stability issues.
