Download Mozilla Firefox 8.0.1

An update has been released for version 8.0 of Mozilla Firefox. This web browser is available for Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X, and can be downloaded in many languages. New in 8.0 is, among other things, the possibility to search directly on Twitter via the search bar. Furthermore, for security reasons, it is now more difficult to install add-ons that do not come from Mozilla’s website. Version 8.0.1 contains some bug fixes for issues that could cause the program to crash under certain circumstances.

The latest version of Firefox has the following changes:

• Fixed Mac OS X crash that occurred in certain instances when a Java Applet is loaded with Java SE 6 version 1.6.0_29 installed.
• Fixed Windows startup crash caused by RoboForm versions older than 7.6.2.
