Download Mozilla Firefox 35.0 Beta
As we are used to from Mozilla, the first beta release of the next version has already appeared shortly after the release of a stable version of the Firefox web browser. Version 35, which should be released on January 13th, will include improvements to the chat client Firefox Hello and the OS X version has built-in support for h264 files. Below is an incomplete overview of the improvements that we can expect in version 35.

- Firefox Hello with new rooms-based conversations model
- Built-in support for H264 (MP4) on Mac OS X Snow Leopard (10.6) and newer through native APIs
- Improved handling of dynamic styling changes to increase responsiveness
- Implemented HTTP Public Key Pin Extension (for enhanced authentication or encrypted connections)

- Resource Timing API implemented
- CSS filters enabled by default
- WebSocket available in Workers
- Changed JavaScript ‘let’ semantics to match the ES6 specification

- Computed view: Nodes matching the hovered selector are now highlighted
- Support for inspecting ::before and ::after pseudo elements

- Show DOM Properties context menu item in inspector
- Reduced resource usage for scaled images
- PDF.js updated to version 1.0.907
