Download Mozilla Firefox 3.5.9

Although version 3.6 of the Firefox web browser has been out for a while, the Mozilla Foundation continues to release updates for version 3.5. These updates, which will appear on a regular basis until at least August of this year, obviously do not contain any new features. In version 3.5.9, the ninth update since the release of 3.5 at the end of June 2009, a whopping 56 bugs fixed and the following eight security vulnerabilities are also a thing of the past:

• Image src redirect to mailto: URL opens email editor
• Update NSS to support TLS renegotiation indication
• Chrome privilege escalation via forced URL drag and drop
• Dangling pointer vulnerability in nsPluginArray
• Dangling pointer vulnerability in nsTreeContentView
• Remote code execution with use-after-free in nsTreeSelection
• Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (rv:1.9.2.2/ 1.9.1.9/ 1.9.0.19)
