Following on from Service Pack 1 RC for Windows Vista, Microsoft has also made the release candidate of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP available to the general public. The RC was made available to MSDN and TechNet members early this month, but is now available from this page can be downloaded in English, German and Japanese. According to Microsoft, the new service pack contains a total of 1073 improvements. You can read exactly which ones they are in this document.
