Microsoft has released version 17.1.1 of Visual Studio 2022. This popular programming development environment has useful options to make programming easier in Visual C++, Visual Basic, C#, F# and Python, among others. The new version is fully 64bit and has a new simplified user interface. More information about version 17.1 is in this announcement from Microsoft.   • CVE-2020-8927 Vulnerability A Remote code Execution vulnerability exists in .NET 5.0 and .NET Core 3.1 where a buffer overflow exists in the Brotli library versions prior to 1.0.8.
  • CVE-2022-24464 Vulnerability A denial of service vulnerability exists in .NET 6.0, .NET 5.0, and .NET CORE 3.1 when parsing certain types of http form requests.
