The folks at Microsoft released a new version of Virtual PC yesterday. This is the 2007 edition, which is available via this page can be downloaded for the 32bit and 64bit variants of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Vista. Virtual PC is Microsoft’s virtualization software and enables you to run one or more other operating systems in Windows. For example, it is possible to run a Windows 95 environment on Windows Vista x64. For the die-hard tweaker, Virtual PC will also have its limitations: for example, it is not possible to run Linux within a virtual machine and 64-bit software is not supported.
