Download Microsoft Internet Explorer Application Compatibility VPC Image 2.0

The developers of Internet Explorer have on IEBlog let them know that there is a new ‘Internet Explorer Application Compatibility VPC Image’ released. Using this image, web developers can test websites in both Internet Explorer 6 and Internet Explorer 7 via Virtual PC 2007. The Internet Explorer Compatibility VPC Image consists of an activated Windows XP SP2 environment with one of the aforementioned browsers. Microsoft has the XP installation with IE6 here (643MB) ready, the environment with IE7 can be from this server (560MB) can be downloaded. Web developers can use the image until December 7, 2007:

Both images are pretty much identical to the ones we published back in April, they contain all of the updates through last week, and any included tools are the most up to date versions. Both images are set to expire on December 7, 2007.
