Yuna Software announced today the release of Messenger Plus! 5.5 for Windows Live Messenger. The latest version of this popular extension for Windows Live Messenger 2011 and 2009 brings video transformation effects and image overlays similar to those featured in its Messenger Plus! for Skype software†

Built-in video effects let Windows Live Messenger users have more fun with their video calls in real-time by using transformation features such as mirror, invert, emboss and more. You can preview and set the video effects before applying them to your call from within the effects preview panel.

Users can choose several patterns from built-in designs and use them as background images to their video calls. They can also add text to these overlays during the video calls.
