Download MediaPortal 1.1.1
Version 1.1.1 of MediaPortal became available on Friday. With this program, a Windows machine can be used as the heart of the multimedia hardware in the living room. This makes it easy to listen to radio and music, as well as watch videos and DVDs. TV programs can also be recorded. By means of plug-ins and extensions, the functionality can be expanded and the ‘look & feel’ of the program can be adjusted. Version 1.1 completely says goodbye to the old TV engine TVE2. Furthermore, a clean installation now uses MySQL 5.1 instead of SQL Server, although the latter can still be used as usual. This was done because MySQL requires less resources and also works fine under Windows 7. Version 1.1.1 is a bugfix release and should fix several small but annoying problems.
MediaPortal 1.1.1 released!
The release of MediaPortal 1.1.0 was a big success. Now, it is already time to release version 1.1.1, as planned. This release fixes some small, but very annoying problems in the 1.1.0 version.
