Download MediaMonkey 3.0.4 build 1185

Last Friday version 3.0.4 build 1185 of Mediamonkey was released. Mediamonkey is a media player with an extensive list of possibilities: it can play the most common audio files, can rip audio CDs to ogg, mp3, flac and wma, can edit tags or even automatically plucked from the internet, it doesn’t shy away from a collection of more than 50,000 files and can be synchronized with a portable music player. The program is available in a free standard version and a twenty dollar Gold version that includes some extra options including faster CD burning. Not much has changed in this release. Only if you have an iPhone or an iPod Touch with the latest 2.x firmware, an upgrade is necessary:

MediaMonkey 3.0.4 has just been released. It is a minor update from 3.0.3 that adds a warning to prevent syncs to iPhone 3G, or iPhone/iPod Touch devices that have been upgraded to 2.x firmware (MediaMonkey is not yet compatible with the newest firmware). Don’t bother updating unless you’re using such a device as there are no other changes.[break]
