Yesterday version 2.5.5 of MediaMonkey was released. The program has a long list possibilities; for example, it can play the most common audio files, audio CDs can be ripped to ogg, mp3, flac and wma, tags can be edited or even automatically picked from the Internet, it is not afraid of a collection of more than 50,000 files and can synchronized with a portable music player. The program is available in a free standard version and a $20 Gold version that offers some additional options including being able to burn CDs faster. Below is the complete development process, which eventually led to version 2.5.5 build 996:
