Download Media Portal 0.1.1.1

Version 0.1.1.1 of Media Portal has just been released on Source Forge. With this program a Windows XP machine can be turned into a real HTPC. This makes it easy to listen to radio and music or watch videos and DVDs. Furthermore, TV programs can also be recorded and the appearance of the program can be adjusted. This release adds support for a whole bunch of TV cards, among other things. The full changelog looks like this:

• MediaPortal now has two build in codecs! So no use anymore of separate DVD video codecs like PowerDVD, WinDVD, etc.
  • Libmpeg2 by Gabest (codecs which are in Media Player Classic)
  • Dscaler 5.0.0.6 by JohnAd (IMHO the best codecs there are)
• Both codecs also contain an audio codec which supports SP/DIF
• Rewrote vmr9 to fix the interlacing issues
• DVD + vmr9 works (with MediaPortal’s own mpeg2 decoders)
