A new version of the web browser Maxthon was released on Tuesday. Maxthon is not a standalone browser, but a so-called wrapper that sits like a shell around Internet Explorer. The program uses IE’s internal engine to build the pages, but has its own interface with all kinds of extra functionality, including mouse gestures and online bookmarks. The main improvement in this release is the ability to play a video on a website in a separate window. The full changelog of this release looks like this:
