Download Maxthon 1.6.0 build 30

Although they are working hard at Maxthon to develop version 2.0, it shows that the 1.x branch is not yet abandoned, because version 1.6.0 build 30 was released the day before yesterday. Maxthon is a so-called ‘wrapper’, a shell around Internet Explorer. It uses IE’s engine to build the pages, but has its own interface with all kinds of extra functionality, such as browsing using tabs, mouse gestures (using the mouse in a convenient way to control the program) , and has a popup and ad blocker. Furthermore, through the Maxthon Resource Center additional functionality can be added or the appearance adjusted. Maxthon can be downloaded in the well-known flavors Combo or Standard and the difference is in the number of plugins and skins that are included. The changelog for this release looks like this:
