Maxthon’s website has a new beta version of the browser of the same name. Maxthon is the new name for MyIE2 and uses the Internet Explorer engine to render Internet pages. However, it adds some useful and fun features. For example, you can surf using tabs, mouse gestures are recognized and the appearance of the program can be changed by means of skins. Maxthon is still in beta state and recommended only for “advanced” users. Beginners are advised to stick with the latest version of MyIE2 for now. The changelog of version 1.0.0220 beta shows the following changes:
