Download Matomo 5.0.1

Version 5.0.1 of Matomo was recently released. Matomo is an open source alternative to Google Analytics. It uses PHP and a MySQL database to do its work. The functionality can easily be expanded with plugins, of which more than twenty are included. Of course you can also disable this if certain functionality is not necessary. What's new?

This patch fixes a regression issue when upgrading to Matomo 5 when you are using the MyISAM storage engine for MySQL 8. It's also now possible to use variables in the custom variables in the tag manager. There have also been a number of bug fixes and performance improvements added as well. 26 tickets have been closed by more than 10 contributors!
